Microsporogenesis begins with sporogenous tissue (B), whose cells become pollen mother cells (D). Each pollen mother cell undergoes meiosis to form microspore tetrads (A), which then separate into individual microspores that mature into pollen grains (C). Hence the order is B, D, A, C.
