Why past papers beat everything else
A past paper is the only source that shows what the exam actually asks rather than what someone thinks it might. How a topic gets tested, how the wording works, which traps recur.
The way most people use them
Whole papers, end to end, as mocks. That is worth doing, but it is a test rather than practice: you find out you are weak in a chapter and the paper gives you three or four questions from it before moving on.
The other way
Broken up by chapter. When you know Thermodynamics is costing you marks, what you want is twenty past-paper questions on Thermodynamics in a row, not three of them spread across four papers. That is what tagging is for, and it is why every one of the 50,000 questions in our bank sits against one of 83 chapters.
The two-correct-answer problem
Every so often NTA accepts more than one option after challenges, usually where a question was ambiguous. Most question banks grade against a single key and mark you wrong for picking the other accepted answer. Ours stores the full set of accepted options, so a real paper's oddities do not become your mistakes.

NTA publishes papers and answer keys itself, at neet.nta.nic.in. We are not NTA and our copies are for practice.

Where can I find NEET past year question papers?
NTA publishes past papers and answer keys on its official site. BrainIt has them in the app, tagged by chapter, so you can practise a single chapter from real papers rather than working through whole papers.
Are past papers enough to prepare for NEET?
They are the best single source, because they show what the exam actually asks rather than what a book thinks it might. They are not a substitute for learning the content first.
Why do some NEET questions have two correct answers?
Occasionally NTA accepts more than one option after a challenge, usually because a question was ambiguous. Any bank that grades strictly against a single key will mark you wrong on those.
