Answer: C

The heater resistance is fixed, so P=V2/RP = V^2/R gives Pc=(VV0)2P0=(200220)2×400331P_c = \left(\frac{V}{V_0}\right)^2 P_0 = \left(\frac{200}{220}\right)^2 \times 400 \approx 331 W. Power scales as the square of voltage, not linearly, so B (unchanged) and A (linear scaling) are wrong, and D over-reduces. Why the other options are wrong: - (A) Assumes linear halving rather than square scaling. - (B) Assumes power unchanged with voltage. - (D) Over-applies the square factor.
